About Sunshine

I am an acrylic Fine Artist who really began painting within the last 2-3 years as a form of therapy - when I am able to paint (often in my bed) to cope with my chronic vestibular dysfunction. 

The Bible tells us in Philippians 2:13 

“For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.” (AMP)

Painting for me, is a sacrifice of praise to my Creator and a way to connect with Him and allow my symptoms to take a bit of a back seat.

Many say my painting style is colorful, bold, and expressive.  It is my hope that you, too will start to see the beauty in every day placed around you by the Ultimate Artist, our Creator, Jesus Christ. He is the One who gives me the desire and ability to see beauty and to paint. Romans 8:28 tells us,

“And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.” (AMP)
